Unite members in NHS take strike action

As you will be aware Unite members who work in the NHS had a second day of strike action today (24 November) in support of their claim for fair pay. Health secretary, Jeremy Hunt has refused to meet unions involved in the dispute to talk about an acceptable way forward.

You can also help by signing the petition calling on the Government to fully implement the recommendations of the Pay Review Body. The recommendation was for a 1% pay rise for all NHS staff. The Government chose to ignore it.
