Durham Unite Community Support Centre is proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2014 North East Equality Awards, in the category The TUC – Unionlearn award

Regardless of whether we win, it is gratifying to see the work we have been doing to increase opportunities for disadvantaged groups and to tackle social exclusion has been recognised, and makes us more determined to continue supporting and reaching out to the most vulnerable in our society.

The awards will be announced on the 17th of October. We wish all the finalists in all the categories the best of luck and congratulate them on their nomination and the commitment they share with us to dedicating their resources and effort towards those people who need it most.
